NOX Optics takes extraordinary measures to ensure that every product shipped to our customers are in working condition prior to leaving our hands. We take pride in quality of products and service, so every product we carry is inspected upon its arrival to our warehouse and, once again, inspected prior to shipping. Prior to us being a night vision and thermal dealer, we were a consumer. We truly understand the excitement of purchasing a night vision or thermal unit, getting it in, opening the package, and then immediately using it with the lights off in your house. If your products should be “Dead on Arrival” or experience an “Out of Box” failure, please contact us within seventy-two hours of receipt, and we will immediately exchange the product under the following conditions:
Each “Dead on Arrival” or “Out of Box” failure claim will be handled on an individual basis. Upon the products return, the product will be inspected, and a determination will be made regarding the legitimacy of the claim. If legitimate, a replacement product will be shipped as soon as possible.
The customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost only.
Please be aware that no return shipments will be accepted without an RMA number.
Each return will be handled on an individual basis depending on the circumstances/situation. Within fifteen (15) days of receipt of product(s), you must have contacted us discussing the reason for the return and provide us with the invoice number and contact information. At that time, a decision will be made regarding the validity of the return. If valid, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) will be provided.
Upon receipt of the product, it will be inspected to ensure that the product is in its original condition with original packaging. This includes all paperwork, user manuals, accessories, and packaging materials. The product will also be inspected for signs of use and function. After the product has been inspected and determined to be in like new condition, a refund will be issued to you.
If the product is not in 100% new, resalable condition, as described above, the customer will be contacted and given the option of having the item returned to them at their expense or, when applicable, receive a refund minus the restocking fee, shipping costs, and cost of repair.
We absolutely hate having to provide a return policy where the integrity of the customer is questioned regarding the validity of a return. There have been many instances where night vision and thermal products have been purchased, used for a few days, and then returned for a refund. This return policy has been crafted to protect both the consumer and NOX Optics in the most fair way possible.
Please be advised that it could take up to twenty (20) business days for you to receive your refund once you have shipped the product for return. Many times, the refund occurs much more quickly. This time period includes shipping time, time for us to process the return/inspect the product, and finally the time it takes for your financial institution to process the refund request.
Each return is subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Return shipping costs are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Return shipping to NOX Optics is the customer’s responsibility. We are not responsible for items that are lost, stolen, or damaged while enroute back to our return center. No return shipments will be accepted by NOX Optics without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
8.25% sales tax is charged for all orders shipped to a Texas address.
Sales tax is not charged for shipments to any other state.
NOX Optics wants our customers to have the easiest, most streamlined shopping experience. We also want to do our best to ensure that credit card holders, as well as ourselves, from fraudulent transactions. Because of this, high value transactions, frequent recurring transactions, or any transaction that appears to be outside of what is considered reasonable and customary may require additional identity verification prior to processing.
If any transaction meets any of the above-mentioned criteria, NOX Optics will contact the customer via email with an identification form which explains the need for additional information as well as the specific information that is needed. This form needs to be completed and return to NOX Optics within seventy-two (72) hours. If a reply has not been received, NOC Optics will contact the customer via telephone to request the additional information. After forty-eight (48) hours of the telephone call being made and the information requested has not been submitted, the order will be cancelled. An e-mail notification will be sent to inform the customer of the order cancellation.
Export of the commodities described herein is strictly prohibited without a valid export license issued by the U.S. Department of State Office of Defense Trade Controls prescribed in the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR). Title 22, Code of the Federal Regulation, Parts 120-13.
